Some early morning LIVE TV the morning of Carson's Unicycling For a Cure event, but not too early. When Allison Flicker (KHQ) contacted us about running a story on Carson's Ford/JDRF car design win this summer, he told her of his plans for Unicycling For a Cure. So, when KHQ caught wind of the event, they asked Carson to come on the morning show the morning of the event....Now, Carson has done several LIVE early morning shows and although he is a trooper, doing one even with the flu and fever, he doesn't like them that early...who does? So, when they said 6 am, he wasn't thrilled and he told me he really didn't want to get up that early on the big day. We, also, have to drive nearly an hour to the station in Spokane from our home. I have learned to listen to Carson, especially as he has increasingly been more and more in the spotlight......after all, he is still a kid! Well, when they called back and offered him the 8 am spot, he said, "That is Much better..I'll take it" Already negotiating at 11 years old !
